Piper 40% EC (Chlorpyrifos)

A broad-spectrum insecticide, “Piper 40% EC” kills insects instantly by interfering with their nervous system’s regular operation. It can be applied to a variety of crops and dissolves instantly in plant roots and leaves. Give chewing pests rapid and lasting control, which is useful for managing termite control.
It is in in EC Formulation (Emulsifiable Concentrate) with 40% w/v concentration. Piper 40% EC has a contact & stomach action. It disrupts nervous system function by inhibiting the
cholinesterase enzyme. Inhibition of cholinesterase results in acetylcholine accumulation. Small excess acetylcholine results in over stimulation of the nervous system, and further excess may have the opposite effect. Dosage is 1 L/Acre (2.5 L/ha).
